Turning old jewelry into pure gold bars

Followup video on other channel:

A few months ago, one of my patrons sent me a bunch of old gold jewelry for me to refine. I originally thought that it was going to just be some gold plated stuff, but it turned out to be quite a bit of gold. I was able to purify out all of the gold and then melt them down into some small 24K pure gold bars.

  1. wonder if you can do the same thing with the paydirt basicly trow the mud (usually has a lot of iron in it) with the gold in and get the fluid with the gold and other metals out then distil the metals out of the fluid
if its viable you might be able to get more of the realy fine gold out than with panning it

  2. I never knew how hypnotic watching fluids being poured in and out of beakers with a soothing human voice in the background could be! @,@

  3. NileRed: With a hammer though, i was able to smash it all the way through.
