Tab bar for Xcode Swift for iOS

A simple walkover on how to add more tabs to an iOS project using Xcode and Swift. Made this video to show a few people who keep trying to say Xcode and Swift are hard, that it is really not that hard at all. Anyone can do this. This video part of my blog Interpreted Keystrokes. Thanks for watching.

  1. Thank you very muchMay I shorten this video, to create new Tab Bar View,1. Create new 'View Controller'2. Add 'Tab Bar Item' to it3. Link from 'Tab Bar Controller' to the 'New View Controller' as 'View Controller '

  2. Hey, finally found the answer to how to connect the new ViewController.swift files to the new storyboards – it won't let me put the link here, but it's on Stack Over Flow

  4. Thanks for the video. Well done. How exactly do you connect the new swift files to the new views on the Storyboard? I've tried several ways but I can't seem to get them connected. I'm sure it's easy, once you know it. 🙂

  5. Do we have to create a cocoa file for each view controller. If so you, for example in this video you would have to do 4 viewcontroller.swift files

  6. Nice. Good tutorial. Just needed to link the new viewcontroller.swift with the viewcontroller it is associated with in the main.storyboard.
