Rethinking infidelity … a talk for anyone who has ever loved | Esther Perel

Infidelity is the ultimate betrayal. But does it have to be? Relationship therapist Esther Perel examines why people cheat, and unpacks why affairs are so traumatic: because they threaten our emotional security. In infidelity, she sees something unexpected — an expression of longing and loss. A must-watch for anyone who has ever cheated or been cheated on, or who simply wants a new framework for understanding relationships.

  1. It is entirely possible to have encountered multiple people who are "the one" in your life. I feel for bad for the people who never find that person and the people who find that 2nd person. The lucky ones are the people who literally find that single person and no one else. Its not always because of trying to find someone else, someone just appears in your life and you cant control it, just like when that first "the one" appeared in your life.

  2. You know I steel because I desire other people's money and its exciting. Dont fault me. Understand me. I think she is a fraud. Murder is murder regardless of the terms used to define it. Even when you have a murdered relationship consummated by god or country. If you seek another have the courage to end you relationship instead of using them for security and a piggy bank. I have no need to understand morally corrupt people, I just need not be in relationship with them. Words for better living.

  3. I suspected my wife of cheating on me but I never had any proof. This went on for months, I didn't know what to do. i was so paranoid and decided to find a solution, i saw a recommendation about a private investigator and decided to contact him. I explained the situation about my wife to him and he said he was going to help me.I gave him all the informations he required and afterwards i received all my wife’s Iphones Text messages, whatsApp messages and calls, I was hurt when i saw a picture of my wife and her lover. I feel so bad about infidelity. but i am glad Mr james was able to help me get all this information, you can contact him via Gmail (worldcyberhackers) or whatsApp : +12678773020

  4. Nothing special about the sin of infidelity. Lust, greed, and pride are persistent desires. There is nothing esoteric about it. Think clearly and know clearly. We’ll never have enough. The past 50 years we’ve been taught to decide with our emotions. We’ve been deceived to think that we aren’t serfs and live like the rich, that has never been true.

  5. Nice French GILF. I should poke her…People who cheat should go to prison for the rest of their life. Just simple as that but our idiotic community loves to share partners…kind of freedom.

  6. I love how she said, "most of us are going to have 2 or 3 relationships or marriages. Some of us are going to do it with the same person. Your first marriage, is over. Would you like to create the second one, together?" Or better, "would you like to create the successful one together?"

  7. If you draw your sword against your friend, donot worry this can be undone. But if you break a confidence donot look for your friend, he is gone.

  8. the french have a problem with this and have banned the dna test. reason? because it broke up marriages when they where exposed..
