The 80-voice New York City Bar Chorus, directed by Kathryn E. Schneider, Esq., and accompanied by Matthew V. Grieco, Esq., now celebrates 20 years of serving our community by bringing uplifting, high-energy musical performances (with selections ranging from Broadway to the Beatles and from rock to gospel) to outreach venues across the city.
Since 1993, the award-winning “CBC” has staged more than 200 concerts at senior residences, homeless shelters, AIDS and cancer patient residences, and pediatric and rehab facilities. Honored by NY1 News as “New Yorkers of the Week,” the CBC’s leaders and members are all legal professionals – attorneys, paralegals, legal administrators, law students – who volunteer their time and talents to our community service mission.
In honor of our 20th year of “musical pro bono” service, we invite you to join us on November 15, 2013 for our 20th Anniversary Gala performance to be held at the historic landmark House of the Association in midtown Manhattan. The show will benefit the City Bar Fund and the Chorus. For more event and ticket information, please visit
