Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme- a 15.6” mobile workstation clad in Lenovo’s signature thin and light X1 Ultrabook casing. The 3.76 lb. / 1.7kg laptop has a 6 core, 45 watt Intel 8th gen Coffee Lake Core i7-8750H CPU, NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti 4GB Max-Q graphics and an optional wide gamut 4K display with 99% Adobe RGB coverage (also supporting pen and touch). It has two M.2 SSD slots, 2 DDR4 RAM slots, the usual excellent ThinkPad keyboard and trackpad with TrackPoint a durable casing that’s passed several MI-STD 810G tests. Thanks to our sponsor, Legrand and their innovative modular USB-C dock—check it out here: .

Oh my god i'm so curious to what the 4K OLED touchscreen looks like on the Gen 2 !
A great laptop review – thank you!
Hello, could you review the X1 Extreme Gen 2? Best regards.
does anyone know how long it usually takesl lenovo to activate the immediate savings options?
Love the channel, Lisa. Why the voiceover mismatch over the X1Ex Vs. Razer Blade 15 part of the video? I'm curious cuz I think that comparison would be helpful.
Cheers.
Great job, thank you so much!

This is my dream laptop
Hi, I recently bought a X1 extreme with core i7 processor, 16 gb ram and 4k display. I feel the computer is very sluggish. Is there anything to do with the 4k display or it’s probably just a defective unit?
Hi Lisa,
I'm considering getting the X1 extreme but the deal-breaker is that Lenovo mentions it's limited to 1tb SSD per slot.
Do you know if a 2tb SSD would work or am I limited?
Please. I am looking for a laptop (Premiere Video editing. Graphic design) that is not a Macbook. 🙏 suggestions?
And we finally have 32Gb SODIMMs on the market. In fact I have a couple of them right here, waiting for a home in a P52 I have on order. So 64Gb of RAM in the X1 Extreme is amazing. More Pro than the MacBook Pro, that's for sure.
what's that thin slot @4:51 ? some kind of credit card slot?
I’ve been researching for a laptop that has the following: Anti Glare non touch screen, Very good keyboard, Very good track pad, Long battery life( very important). I haven’t found a good option yet, what do you recommend getting based on the above specs?
But the bios is bugged and the graphics card and CPU run at 70% top speed because of thermal and TDP throttling?
You clearly see that she knows her stuff when mentioning details like the keyboard backlight or the style and tone pitch of the fans. 👍
Thank you for your product reviews. They are very professional and detailed.
I am looking for a workstation style laptop to use mainly for engineering applications (software, simulation, and 3D CAD) but at the same similar to XPS 15 or X1 Extreme. I need a non-Glossy display. my question is what professional laptops have the best eye-friendly display?
The Dell XPS won't brick itself Please be advised if you disable the Hybrid Graphics these devices will lock you out of the BIOS permanently – trying to send mine back as i type this
Lenovo will sell you an 64 GB X1 Extreme as build-to-order, so they can manage this despite Lisa's skepticism.
I feel like God intentionally punished Jews for killing Jesus by cursing then with that nose. I don't even need to ask if this woman is Jewish.

Most trusted product review on YouTube 🙂 just placed an order on X1 extreme (fingers crossed)
Do external GPUs work with the thunderbolt ports? Any issues with that? I ask because I read somewhere that currently, external GPUs work best with only the razer blade; there are some issues with other laptops which make the overall experience not so smooth.
Wow I found this laptop on sale on amazon, here if anyones interested! https://amzn.to/2I8OSjH
