Lenovo Legion Y540 Review // 🔥 Hot Performance!

The Legion Y540 is here and brings a lot of performance at an affordable price. My review unit came with an i7 9750H, GTX 1660Ti, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVME SSD and a 144Hz display which comes with a $1700 price tag.

  1. Hello guys, please give an advice, I cannot decide.
    1. 17 inch Lenovo Y540 60hz display
    2. 15 inch HP Pavilion 15 with the same specs but 144hz display?
Bigger with lower display quality or smaller with better display?!?

  2. Can u help me out to select the right laptop for editing and gaming purpose from following laptop
    1.Asus TUF FX505DT
    2.Asus ROG Strix G531GT
    3.Acer Nitro 5 (2019)
    4.Lenovo Ideapad L340
    5.Lenovo Legion Y540

  3. Im planning to buy a gaming laptop between this Lenovo Y540 with RTX 2060 Zephyrus GX501 with 16GB Ram and, which one do you recommend?

  4. For a 60Hz panel, the i5 9300H with 1650 is a better choice right?

I mean, will the i5 processor bottleneck if you pair it with a 1660Ti? What's the point in paying for a 144Hz panel if you don't get such high frame rates?

  5. I got this model but only with a Gtx 1650, 60hz display, 8gb RAM and 256 GB SSD for 959€. Dunno if it was worth it. Still waiting for the delivery to test it out with some games.

  6. The rtx 2060 i7 144hz variant is an absolute steal, if you can stretch your budget a little I would recommend you get this one instead

  7. Battery life on a gaming laptop is the last thing that matters, hell why the hell who you buy gaming laptop for battery life, there’s tons of other laptops that are are just for that, I never my laptop without ac anyway, and if I need something on the go I use my….you guessed smartphone.

  8. Thanks for a great review! I'm about to replace my old laptop, with new one, and as a backend data programmer, I need a computer with strong CPU and a lot of cores, as well as huge enough RAM and good baterry life. I'm working under Linux. By budget is around 1400€ and I'm doubting between this one and HP Pavilion Gaming 5. Please help me with advices.
