I had a Inspirion and the fan turned on and blew hot air when I had it for a week.
Was there any heating problems where you had to make repairs? Maintenance is my main issue.

I ordered the XPS 13 9360 and had just received today. After a few hours of using, I started to notice that "Coil Whine" issue, which none of these XPS 13 videos on youtube talk about. It is not loud at all, but it is definitely audible if you are in a quiet environment. Be sure to check out this issue and be prepared for this issue, because it has not been solved and has been discussed many times on Dell's community forum.
